Where the heart and soul connect

Egyptian Goddess of Protection

This is Egypt’s Goddess of Protection, Wadjet, who was portrayed as a snake which was actually her totem animal. All Goddesses are interpretations and aspects of the Divine Feminine -Mother God, and Wadjet represents Mother God’s constant guard over you against the slings and arrows of negativity and adversity.

This image also symbolizes protecting our self. It takes strength to keep negativity from affecting us like judgement, criticism, and our old worst fears.

The snake represents knowledge, wisdom and spiritual awakening. It’s protective stance signifies that knowledge is power and can pull us out of despair and fears like not being good enough. It’s protecting our God-center, our self-worth and esteem. Our soul holds great beauties and strengths and this self-awakening, knows better than to allow us to believe any lesser-than fears.

It’s hard to remember our quality while in life where negativity abounds and our self-esteem takes a beating.

This image signifies, not only the knowledge of who you are rising up (in the snake) to protect your God-center, but also you as an extension of the Goddess in life: living your life for you and for God, following your purpose and passion, and not allowing anyone to tread on your soul.

Angus on the Other Side teaches that every time you see the Egyptian Goddess and Her snake, it registers in your subconscious mind like a physical affirmation of the Divine Feminine protecting you; as well as your own power and knowledge of who you are, rising up to defend your sense of self.

This is why I create this art and Vera relays information from Angus. From our heart to yours, we pray you remember to call on your Divine Mother for help on your life path.
